Difficult Transition

Love the blue skies this morning!

It’s been about 5 weeks since I left Wells Fargo.  Honestly, the transition has been extremely difficult. The first couple of weeks my body completely rejected me. I have never felt so fatigued, bloated, sick, run down, absent minded in my years of chronic illness. I could not function in my daily life – it was like I was in a complete daze! A good example was when I unknowingly ran a red light and was almost hit by another car.  I did not see the light or that it was red!  It was as if my mind and body were in hibernation.  My doctor said it was likely my liver and was caused because mentally I have not had the time to focus on my health and now with the elimination of one big stressor, I was finally feeling the actual sickness!  This is not what I expected in a million years!  I thought leaving a high stress job would make me feel better than ever!  Sadly this was not the case.

I did not know what to do so I went into survival mode.  I would like to say I ate healthy and rested, but feeling so terrible, I stayed up late, ate terrible and stopped exercising.  Not a good combination!

This has been a learning experience! Finding a new routine and schedule is challenging but not impossible! And the extra time with my daughters is priceless!  I wouldn’t trade this time with them for anything even though it has been a difficult transition!

I am a mom, wife, daughter, sister and a lawyer.

I have been battling with Adenomyosis, Endometriosis,  Central Hypothyroidism, Graves’ Disease, Hashimoto, Liver Dysfunction, Low Stomach Acid, and possibly Kidney Disease and Intestinal Infection.

After 10+ doctors and 30+ drugs, procedures and supplements, I have made the decision to take my health into my own hands.

As I begin this journey, I will post my history (coming soon) and will post my journey as I find solutions, alternatives and remedies so I can go from Sick and Tired to Happy and Healthy!
